Urban Drainage – Design of Storm Water Detention and Retention Facilities

At the end of this course you should be able to:  – Design a storm water management system with a peak runoff rate to be less than the pre-development rate  – Control flooding soil erosion sedimentation and pollution  – Establish the existing runoff volume either based on pre-development conditions or local government regulations and  – Calculate compensation for the additional runoff volume within the storm water system.
