By the end of this course you will be able to: List the modes of mass transportation and identify the attributes of each mode such as travel time fare prices comfort convenience and safety. Describe how mass transportation is organized and administered in the United States. Describe the methods used to predict which mode of transportation a rider may select for a particular trip. Provide transit route design models for the safe and accessible boarding and alighting of passengers Describe the elements and considerations of transit fare policies. Analyze the performance of transit routes. Identify the primary performance measures of transit routes such as the safety and security of a passenger.
