This 8-video course helps learners master the art of shaping a Word 2019 document by using sections headers and footers to set off ideas more clearly and how to insert page numbers in a document.  First learn how to use page breaks skillfully—by moving titles for a new chapter onto the page where the chapter text begins for instance—and how to use a keyboard shortcut to accomplish this. Key topics covered in this course include how to create and insert custom information in Words headers and footers; how to save and reuse a header and insert it into other documents; and how to customize paragraph outlines and the color style thickness and locations of borders. Observe how to use the border and fill tools to apply colors to your document and design interesting borders to make your document more attractive. Next learn the various ways you can change the page color and surrounded text with a border—with the paragraph tool set or the Design tab. In order to practice what you have learned you will find the Word document named Word 2019 for Windows: Structuring Documents Exercise as well as the associated materials in the Resources section.
