The domain name system (DNS) uses centralized servers to resolve friendly names to IP addresses among other uses. In this course you;ll begin with a DNS overview followed by an overview of AWS Route 53 DNS services. Next you;ll learn how to create configure and manage Route 53 hosted DNS zones. Lastly you;ll learn how to create various Route 53 DNS routing policies including a multivalue answer policy and a weighted policy. This course is one of a collection of courses that prepares learners for the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate (SOA-CO1) exam.
