The Truthful Cost or Pricing Data Act formerly the Truth in Negotiations Act and still commonly referred to by its prior acronym TINA is designed to protect taxpayers by helping to ensure fair pricing in acquisitions by the federal government. This course will introduce the main features of TINA discuss contractor obligations and exceptions and outline potential consequences of violating the Act.
