Using Find & Replace Tools in Word Microsoft 365 for Windows

This 7-video course explores several capabilities—word symbol or number searching and replacing—available in Word for Office 365. Learners will observe how to use the Navigation Pane to find words and phrases in a document and that search will be clearly displayed. You will also learn how to navigate between pages or lines with the Go To tool. Next the course demonstrates Advanced Search options in Words Editing tool set which allows you to specify the words case and format. Next learners watch demonstrations of how to access the Find tool to use wildcard codes to perform approximate searches in Word including how to search for variable spellings specific prefixes and even half- complete numbers. Continue by learning how to use the Find and Replace tool to replace all instances of chosen words. You will observe how the Replace tool allows you to change formatting of text without having to manually select and reformat text. Finally learners examine how to change or replace Symbols or specials characters in a document.
