Design of Bicycle Facilities – Cycle Track Design

At the end of this course you will be able to:   Identify at least two key elements in the design of cycle tracks that improve the health safety and welfare of the public. Name two features in cycle track design that accommodate ADA and PROWAG requirements. List two cycle tracks strategies to accommodate adjacent on-street parking. State geometrical configurations to assist cycle track users in turning left at intersections. Given a set of design criteria select the most adequate treatment for accommodating bus bays or transit stops adjacent to cycle tracks.
