You dont have to a hero – there are many ways you can defuse the situation just long enough to interrupt whats going on and help the person being victimized get out of the situation. In this course youll learn some approaches you can use to intervene when you witness someone being harassed by another. Managers and supervisors have a responsibility to both their employees and their company to know their role in preventing and responding to all forms of workplace harassment and discrimination including sexual harassment. This course is intended to help develop a set of values in managerial and supervisory employees that will assist them in preventing and effectively responding to incidents of discrimination and workplace harassment. This course is designed specifically to address the Chicago training requirements and includes coverage of federal anti-discrimination and anti-harassment law as well.
