Quick Start Guide

Note: these instructions assume that you have completed the course Registration process and you have been issued log-in credentials…

1)    Turn off pop-up blockers (in Explorer go to Tools, then Pop-up Blockers and disable this feature)

2)     Conduct a simple PC system check to make sure your PC is set up to access the training site – click here

3) On the home page click Log-in, then enter your user name and password (issued to you via email)

4) It is recommended that you change your password - you will find this option on the left hand navigation

5) Course(s) that you have been approved to take will be listed in the My Plan section of the home page

6) Locate other courses by browsing the Catalog (top navigation) or use the Search Engine to find course titles.  When you find a course you wish to take click Add To My Plan

7) Return to the My Plan page and launch your course

Resolving Technical Support Issues

If you have not already done so complete a PC system check (see number 2 above).

If the system check results prompt you to download software please attempt to complete the download.   If you are not allowed to complete the download, retain the system check results and contact the OIT eLearning administrator. 
If you successfully downloaded software and have rebooted your PC and this does not resolve your issue, please see contact vendor technical support.

Lost Username and Password

Please note that NJOIT administrators do not have access to user log-in data. If you have lost your username or password and would like to have them emailed to you follow these steps:
Go the NJOIT eLearning Log-in page, click Forgot My User ID/Password and follow the instructions.
