eLearning Overview & Course Lists

Computer-based training has come a long way from its experimental stages during the 1990’s to the fast, robust, Web-based applications that deliver attractive, user-friendly learning experiences of today.

The New Jersey Office of Information Technology is a dynamic learning environment that offers self-directed learning and reference opportunities to increase your skill and knowledge in the areas of information technology, desktop applications and business/professional development.

Program Overview

eLearning courses are a quick and efficient way to build skills at your own pace through the NJOIT Intranet or from off-site through the Internet. Access is "unlimited," so you may take and re-take as many courses as necessary. Specific lessons within a course may be taken to achieve more concentrated learning in a particular area of coursework. When you have completed a course, you may measure your level of proficiency by taking the course assessment.

You may also earn continuing education units (CEU) and satisfy accreditation requirements where applicable. Course Completion Certificates are printable from the site.
