Access Supervisor & Manager Information

Below are program facts that supervisors and managers should know:

  • Supervisors or managers must not mandate or require employees to engage in the eLearning program off duty, as there will not be any remuneration or compensation provided.
  • Prior to taking courses, each employee must acknowledge the program policy by reading and accepting the conditions of the disclaimer. You can view the eLearning disclaimer by clicking here.
  • Courses are typically 30 to 90 minutes and may be completed in multiple sessions.
  • The system maintains comprehensive user statistics that reflect employee course activity details such as: courses taken, date and time, and assessment scores.
These are the eLearning advantages:
  • Reduces or eliminates time spent away from the office.
  • Extends training to support PMR developmental plans.
  • Provides targeted training for succession related skill gaps.
  • Affords general training opportunities for individual career development.
These programs can be highly effective tools if you consider some simple measures:
  • Set course completion and usage expectations. Discuss course completion objectives one on one with employees. Ask or suggest which courses they intend to complete and by when. Follow-up on completion dates.
  • Allow users time on the job to work on eLearning courses. Discuss eLearning at manager/staff meetings.
  • Complete a few lessons from a course yourself, and send an email to your employees regarding your experience.
