In this course you ll nAIl down how to ID networking equipment by function alone and grasp its role in both the context of the operational network and in troubleshooting.
You ll start by categorizing network equipment by function before identifying how they operate in context and how they facilitate troubleshooting. You ll then examine how Cisco devices work with different networking media and the potential requirements for their use. Finally you ll investigate the physical and functional characteristics of the ports on Cisco devices.
